The ad was put up Thursday night with a 2 rats MUST be gone by Sunday. I called and asked about them., 2 girls, said they were 3 years old, had many litters each...his wife had just had a baby, and they needed to get rid of the animals as they didn't have time for them anymore. I knew the address he gave me, it was a big time feeder breeder who dumped all his stock last year but I guess he kept these girls. I was told they were friendly, and was offered a completely balanced diet of dog food as he would no longer need the bag. A cage came with them when I asked. Jenny picked them up later that night. They were on pine and in a red bottom hamster cage. The black was the protector and the smeeze was terrified.

She was gentle and curious from the start

I named her after a wonderful courageous online friend I knew called Laurie Davidson, who had battled cancer and sadly it recurred again when she was too weak to fight it. Laurie decided no more treatment and bravely set forth on her journey.
Laury's fur grew back in sleek and smooth, her eyes were always bright and she became quite chubby LOL

She lived in a large group of younger girls and everyone loved her, but she loved to be with me, while everyone else was out running
