Lucy was a no-touch girl. Her life originally was being bred for a snake's dinner, but luckily someone found out about her and her family, and saved her, but poor Lucy had never been socialized and for her the only safety and happiness was with her cagemates/sisters. Lucy bit, would stay as far away from humans as possible, was the one who would slink out of the hammock if you got too close. So I didn't force her, and I think she appreciated that. I had plenty of rats that loved cuddles, pats, and interaction, so I could leave her be.
Here you can see her, newly arrived, the mink in the very back of the hammock, wide eye nervously watching my every move.

I don't know what happened with this girl, she was suddenly ill, but no real symptoms...just unwell, cool, and something wrong. I tried everything and she didn't respond, its like her poor body went into a full system failure and she was gone in 2 days.
