Sweet Millie, the mom of the group of feeder rats I took in...well to 3 of them. One was a lovely happy boy that went to Ashley/Scythe, was named Lumos, and is quite a character like his mom. Millie had been bred over and over, her body was loose and her belly felt funny. She had trouble walking around properly, and she looked like she had just had yet another litter very recently.
Poor Millie was confused, and was grieving the loss of her litter...she was doing that strange maternal behaviour where they try to drag other rat "babies" back to the safety of the nest. This took a long time to pass and she wasn't gentle about it and the others avoided her when she was coming near their faces. She even tried to drag me a few times LOL. She was a sweet funny older girl, she loved to go back and forth on my neck as I stroked and kissed her back going by. 
Then she would be off to explore. Considering life was a small tank by herself most of her life she looooved exploring. 
I think her body wore out with the abuse it had suffered in her previous life and she was literally "bred to death". She had a few good months here before she left us.
