This little one was bought as live food for a snake, the snake didn't eat and was sold and rat became "first come, first served". Jenny picked him up an hour before he was to become a snake's dinner. He was a very scared little boy...understandably!!
Tych was a baby snakebait, who literally had minutes to live. My friend Jenny rushed to get him before he could be fed off, and managed to get him!!
At first he was just a spooky baby who loved his old manrats,
but a few months later he became very aggressive and hormonal so off he went to be neutered. Unfortunately his aggression and fears were all genetic not hormones so he stayed rat aggressive for most of his life. Towards the end he was finally able to have friends, starting with the spooky Soka, who left us waaay too early, but she broke him in for others thankfully.
He lived a good long life until 31 months of age :)
