Wren - November 2010 to October 14, 2013
Wren was a rat that we heard was biting its new owner (a member on here)...they were saying she was vicious, and the husband was about to toss her out the back door!! My wonderful Jenny (when I first knew her) offered to go waaaay out of her way, pick up the vicious beast and bring her to me. When she picked her up and brought her to me we were both laughing...Wren was a baby!! She DID have a habit of nipping fingers pushed through bars but that went quickly...she was a funny faced beige rexy baby! Yet another "biter" saved. Of course the member who was posting her disappeared after getting rid of her troublesome rat.
Ima gonna git you!!

Wren actually did a very important thing for me soon after she arrived in January 2011. She convinced the sickly, malnourished old Hope to eat...she wasn't eating, and for some reason, Wren convinced her she could...I was soo happy!!

Wren stayed with Hope until she was feeling better then joined my young craaazy baby girl cage.

Happy non-bitey Wren :P

Craaazy girl family photo (Wren is 2nd from left)

Wren was never very photogenic sadly, and was not a camera hog (unlike others) so her pics are few and far between

Almost 2 years old here

27 months here

30 months here, living with Sparrow my 3-legged wonder, and they were both always begging to come out and run. Wren had tumours by now but it never stopped her.

32 months, still bright-eyed and active

34 months, loooved her strokes while sleeping...she loved to curl up next to me (heat source) and be stroked while she dozed

and she slept away to the end at my side...woke up soon after she slipped away. She almost made 3...but not for lack of trying!! The last of the Craaazy Bunch.
