Alvin

Alvin - Dec. 2010 to Feb. 8, 2013 :(

Baby Alvin was yet another snakebait boy. Kayla picked him up for me and fostered him from a very young baby...she did a great job, since when he arrived, he was fat, sassy and super friendly. He loved the big boys, Jenny's soon to be Mr. Fluffy and Remy, but adored shy, introverted Milton most of all. That friendship lasted most of their lives.

Growing up



The baby boys were adopted out, except for chronically ill Rufus, and my old 25 month old spayed girl Spaz ended up having a harem of Boy Toys. She adored them.



Alvin grew up to be a big manly boy. He got introduced to Crazy Chloe along with Milton...it went well :D




Then Alvin developed pulmonary abscesses in his lungs and my once stocky boy became thin and ill. So much that once I removed him from the cage, and introduced him to Thomas, who also was sick and alone. It really was a perfect match. Thomas who hadn't been happy with a friend since his sweet Zeus passed, was thrilled and Alvin, who had been abandoned by Milton for the fairer sex had a real companion again. I was so happy for both of them!



So Alvin was happy but his health continued to deteriorate. He didn't want to run around so much anymore, leaving that to Thomas, and was content to lie on or near me, getting pats, giving licks and leaning against me to groom.



Then I introduced the 2 to much older Willow and sickly younger Loki. Another good fit.



But finally my sweet cuddly boy told me it was time to go. He went with Thomas his beloved friend, and they started their journey together.
