Linny was originally called Blue, because she was one of many PEW babies and her tail marking was blue sharpie. I adopted her and Red..hehe…from Melissa’s rescue litter.
They were 5 weeks when they came home.
Linny was named after a blue flower, just as Red was named Suri (Persian rose, and NO she is not named after Tom Cruise’s baby!) She was the dominant girl of the 2 sisters when they were babies but soon softened into one of the sweetest and lickiest of girlies. Her nickname became Licky Linny and any hand that was near was in peril of becoming soggy from her dedicated efforts. She was a very feminine girl and very beautiful.
Sadly my Linny developed URI’s 6 months ago that became chronic and then ended up with what we are thinking was pulmonary abscesses in her lungs as they were heavily consolidated…we fought and fought with different treatments trying to make her more comfortable but sadly the illness won. The light was very much in her eyes still, but she wasn’t herself anymore, she was tired, and I decided to let her go, so she didn’t have to keep fighting this fight to breathe :(
Even at a very young age, Linny had her philosophy that All was Right in the World if she could be on (or licking) her Human.
Linny taught almost all the girls in her cage to lick…including my former biter J
I will miss her gentle nature and sweetness…
