Silly scared nippy Livvy. I thought I would have lots of time to get to know her. She was just starting to feel more comfortable with me and wasn't beating up her poor long-suffering boyfriend anymore. She was never sick, she had mites when she arrived but nothing else, no lumps,no bumps, no anything. I just found her gone...Samson had buried her body under the aspen in the corner and was ignoring it. Poor Liv, barely 15 months old. She did love her comfy Samson...cuddling, harrassing him, she really adored her big patient boyfriend, so at least she got that from life.
She was a rescue from a rescuer. The rescuer sadly had NO clue about rats and tried her best but Livvy (no name before she got here) was a biter since she had just had a litter. Jenny went and picked up little biter girl for me,then called and asked if I wanted the boy too.
So Samson was neutered and re-intro'd to his "slightly" insane girlfriend. I felt so bad for him when she went into a whirling dervish type of attack, but he took it and forgot it each time. LOL
Livvy arrived with a really bad case of mites, and she became my newest poster girl on how a good looking coat can hide a mess, itchies and a lot of pain.

Ouch! No wonder she was nippy!
So gorgeous and so nervous...don't touch me she'd scream!

Finally starting to trust me...a little

With Samson

Funny little girl, peeking up from behind my binder of old vet bills
