Loki the Girl

Loki the Girl - Sept 2011 to Feb. 20, 2012

Loki was bought to be a snakes dinner, but after being put in withthe snake she fought back and the snake refused to eat her. After awhile the husband couldn't stand it any longer and went and bought a tiny cage, and a water bottle and was going to keep her as a pet. Unfortunately they soon discovered they were unable to handle her. Loki was one very very scared girl, and she honestly was nervous all her life. She HATED human contact, and hid and ran until only recently. We had started to make some breakthroughs but it was already too late. Loki loooved her rat friends, and that was good enough for me. She was the first Ovariectomy that Dr Munn ever had done, and did great except that at about 9 months of age, she developed pulmonary abscesses and the battle for her health was one. She sadly lost the battle and was put to sleep with much older bestie Willow.

Jenny of course picked her up, and fostered her for a time until she could get to me.

Meeting and loving Naira and Johari, the Bolton Pinkie Machines, not much older than she was.

New additions, she really loved Rufus, Galileo and Medici

I would get one pic of her cuddling with Gali, and then she would slink off...

Everyone in her old cage passed on and Loki finally met Willow...Willow was the girl she had been waiting for.

Loki started to allow me closer and to pat her while she was out :joy:

She adored her Willow and they left this world together. external image beatingheart.gif
