Maline and her 2 babies were leftover rescues from a bunch of rats a forum member had taken in to raise and rehome. Sadly if no one took Maline and her 2 girls, she would end up back at the former owners to a very unknown fate. Guess where they ended up? LOL
After this they moved into the Carina cage and that particular ham hogged all the shots, so there were few of Maline during this time. She was also a very shy girl as well.

The the virus hit a few months ago…poor Maline, it was touch and go, many daily injections to keep her alive.
Emily comforts her sick friend here (she was moved to a different elderly group when she became so ill)
Finally starting to feel a bit better
Then the virus, her pre-existing tumors and PT took it’s toll and she finally succumbed. :(
She was very happy with her new friends who cuddled and cared for her though.
and didn’t mind being on the bottom of this ratpile, sick young Issa, old nursemaid Moggy and Maline sleeping on the bottom.
I shall miss my sweet girl. :cry:
