Pam - February 2011 to May 14, 2014 :(
Pam came from an owner who loved her dearly but ended up developing allergies so badly she went into anaphylactic shock and was in the hospital.
Pam then got sent to a friends place while Kayla tried to find her elderly lady a home as she was almost 3.
Jenny (as always) picked her up for me on Dec. 29th, 2013 and I got her finally on January 10th, 2014.

Her first, but not last puff

That first week, she went up to my Mom's with me for the weekend. My mom adored her and Pam just settled down on her shoulder quietly..and bruxxed. My 2 favourite girls

Pam would lie on my chest as I stroked her or rubbed her shoulders and back of the neck and one day she climbed up on me when I was lying down watching TV, rested her chin on mine, and fell asleep for ages...I melted.
She was either very frightened of, or a bully to other rats, but silly me I offered her girls when she wanted boys! LOL She loved the group of older boys I got her in with...she was always smooshed up with someone. She accepted the old girl Amity they were with because Amity was just a happy small and accepting rat so not a threat or a worry.
But at first she observed from the hammock alone...

Then finally she joined in and here she is with Akemi

She finally started to really age, her soft squishy tumours continued to grow, but she was still really happy and very healthy, no respiratory issues at all.

She adored being scritched, rubbed and getting body scratches, and would go into licking frenzies and make funny faces when I got the "spot"...
Rub my ears!!!

Last week she was still tatty, old but happy
