Thomas - Nov. 2010 to Feb. 8,. 2013 :'( :'(
Thomas was a special special boy all his life, my heart is very heavy having to do this memorial. I was SUPPOSED to have him into serious old age, and finally get to cuddle this energetic boy to my hearts content...but it was not to be...circumstances prevailed and I made the decision to let him and his BFF Alvin go together.
Expect a lot of pics because this boy was seriously photogenic and a ham to boot! His life really IS pics, so here we go...
Baby Thomas's pic in the ad. Gross and depressing. He was named Cheeko, but no one actually paid any attention to him as you can tell from the state of the tank. Btw this was a 5 gallon aquarium, he was a tiny boy. :(

Lovely wonderful Jenny/Crumbilina, saved the day again, picking up this lad in her city and fostering him for a few days before bringing him to me. He was very very shy at her place, but we got him here and he blossomed with personality in only a few minutes LOL. Thomas was"born". LOL

Are you mine?

When Zeus became strangely ill and thin, I removed him from his rougher cage of boys and introduced him to the tiny Thomas...they were such a good fit. Thomas loved his Daddy Zeus, and Zeus loved him back, and bounced back from his illness.

Thomas was truly happy then and his goofy personality really starting to come out. This boy LOVED to play...he was like a puppy, with all that energy, making funny faces, running, bouncing, wrestling, rolling on his back to have his belly tickled, and often having to be saved from the predicaments he got into when leaping before looking ...LOL

then Zeus got terribly ill, and had to be hospitalized for a week at the vet clinic, while he fought for his life...Thomas was very upset. But luckily our lovely little man came home to us and Thomas was gently thrilled. He used to play quite roughly with Zeus but until Zeus gained his strength back, he was remarkably gentle.

But sadly Zeus was only home a few more months with us, and then Thomas was on his own, until he met Alvin, and he once again had someone to roughhouse with, and cuddle with during Down time. :D Then they were introduced to the ladies Willow and Loki, and they were a good family

Sadly my little man was growing old...and his lungs started to fail him. :(

But he was still my happy goofy man, who ran and bounced to the very very end.

Thursday morning, I was medicating his cage, and saw something wrong with his eye...it looked like there was bleeding into the eyeball, the eyeball was large and dry. He didn't show any signs of discomfort but I gave him a big dose of metacam and lubed up his eye with ointment and went to work, praying that when I came home his eye would've come down, and I could save him without surgery...my wishes were not answered for him, and I called the vet clinic and booked him and BFF Alvin in for a euthanasia the next morning. I then let their group run and play for most of the evening. Thomas was everywhere as usual...climbing, bouncing and exploring. He ended up sitting in my purse happily for the end of the evening. I gave him puffs, and some other treats and pats...he loved it. My sweet clown.

This video is how I shall always remember Silly Happy Thomas. I shall miss my "Tommy Therapy"
